The Palenque model

Not the REAL Palenque at all, in case you were hoping! This is the Palenque Ruins prop by Redhouse, from DAZ. (Against a background of Sunny Meadow 2 by SharonG [link] )

It's to show our friend Lexi (courtesy of ) that the "Palenque ruin" really isn't very high - and for somebody young and athletic like Lexi, shouldn't be hard to climb!

I decided to leave out the characters so it wouldn't have to be mature content. (Don't worry - you can see them, a lot closer up, at [link] and [link] .) Hopefully you can roughly guess the scale from the doors and stairs. (Actually both of those were probably on the small side, because the ancient Maya were small people.)

As for the real Palenque, there are zillions of good pictures - just try Google Images. Here's just one of many good sites: [link] . The pyramid that probably inspired this model is considerably taller than the model itself - Lexi might have preferred to fly up THOSE stairs.
